Accessibility Statement

Version 1.0 · Last updated

Summary

We want everyone to be able to explore and understand ORBITRA ONE™. This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA in every language and in both themes. This statement describes the measures we take, the limitations we know about, and how to report a barrier or ask for information in another format.

01Our commitment

Our goal is for this website to conform to WCAG 2.2 at level AA, the guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. Accessibility is built into how pages are designed, written, engineered and reviewed; it is not a separate version of the site.

This statement covers the public website in every language. Third-party websites and documents linked from it are outside its scope.

02Measures we take

  • Semantic structure — semantic HTML, a logical heading order, landmarks and skip links help assistive technologies navigate each page.
  • Keyboard navigation — menus, selectors, forms, tabs, dialogs and interactive illustrations can be operated with a keyboard, in a logical focus order.
  • Visible focus — a clear focus indicator shows where you are at all times.
  • Reduced motion — when your device requests reduced motion, animations are replaced by static or minimal-motion versions that carry the same meaning. Continuous animation pauses when it is off screen or the tab is hidden.
  • Text alternatives — meaningful images have text alternatives, and every technical diagram and animated illustration has a caption or text equivalent that describes what it shows.
  • Contrast in both themes — the dark and light themes are each designed for sufficient contrast of text, controls, focus indicators and data states, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.
  • Captions and transcripts — where video is used, it is captioned, and a transcript is provided for content that depends on sound or visuals.
  • Zoom and reflow — text can be resized and pages zoomed without loss of content or function, and layouts reflow for narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Forms and announcements — form fields have visible labels and instructions, errors are described in text, and screen readers are informed of form results and page changes.
  • Language and touch — each page declares its language for correct pronunciation, and controls are sized and spaced for touch.

03Compatibility

The website is designed to work with current versions of Chromium-based browsers, Safari and Firefox, and with the assistive technologies commonly used with them, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control and switch access.

Text and navigation load before three-dimensional scenes, and every scene has a static equivalent, so content remains available when JavaScript is slow or WebGL is unavailable. Older browsers and assistive technologies may not support every feature.

04Known limitations

Some interactive illustrations, such as the universe constellation, the market constellation and the Aegis risk graph, present complex relationships visually. Each has a text equivalent — a caption, a description or a list view — that provides the same information and the same destinations.

Content provided by third parties, such as external documents or services we link to, may not meet the same standard. If you need that content in an accessible form, contact us and we will help where we can.

05How we check accessibility

Automated accessibility testing runs during development and before release, alongside manual review with keyboards, screen readers, zoom and reduced-motion settings in both themes. Automated tools find common issues but do not replace manual review, and issues are prioritized by their impact on the people using the website.

06Feedback and support

If you encounter a barrier, need content in an alternative format or have a suggestion, write to hello@orbitraone.com or use the contact form. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing them.

We acknowledge accessibility feedback, investigate it and tell you what we will do. Where an issue cannot be fixed straight away, we will provide the information you need in another way.

07Escalation and complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate the matter through our complaints procedure. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to contact the public body responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements.

We review this statement whenever the website changes significantly, and the version shown here is the current one.
