Markets · Real-world assets
Every coupon, valuation and redemption on record.
Funds, credit, property and invoices issued with explicit permissions, valued through Prism and administered as lifecycle events — with eligibility enforced on every transfer.
Overview
Traditional assets, programmable administration
A real-world asset is more than a price. It has an issuer, a legal structure, holders who must be eligible and a calendar of coupons, valuations and redemptions. Conventionally that administration runs across registrars, transfer agents and reconciliations, and the record of ownership can lag the trade.
On ORBITRA ONE™ the terms, permissions and lifecycle of an asset travel with the asset. Issuers configure them in Asset Studio, VaultID enforces eligibility on every transfer and Prism publishes valuations with their source and confidence. The tokenization page covers issuance in depth.
Capabilities
Four asset classes, one administration layer
- 01
Funds
Tokenized fund shares that subscribe and redeem on the fund’s dealing schedule, with net asset values published through Prism.
- 02
Credit
Private credit, loans and notes whose coupons, amortization and maturity are encoded as scheduled events.
- 03
Property
Interests in property vehicles with periodic valuations and income distributions to eligible holders.
- 04
Invoices
Receivables with a defined maturity, payment confirmation and a documented process for late or missed payment.
- 05
Issuer permissions
Issuers set holder eligibility, transfer rules and lock-up periods, and every issuer action is recorded.
- 06
Asset Studio
Issuance and administration tooling for terms, permissions and lifecycle events. Issuers can start an inquiry.
Lifecycle
The life of a tokenized asset
- 01
Structure
The issuer defines terms, permissions and eligibility rules in Asset Studio.
- 02
Issue
Tokens are minted to eligible holders against settled subscriptions.
- 03
Trade
Secondary transfers, where permitted, pass VaultID checks on the order book or through RFQ.
- 04
Value
Prism publishes valuations and net asset values with source, method and confidence.
- 05
Distribute
Coupons and income are paid to record-date holders as signed lifecycle events.
- 06
Redeem
At maturity or in a redemption window, tokens are retired and proceeds settle atomically.
Protection
Safeguards for value that lives offchain
A token can enforce rules onchain, but the asset behind it still depends on issuers, servicers, custodians and legal structures. These controls make those dependencies visible.
- 01
Eligibility enforcement
VaultID credentials are checked at every transfer, not only at onboarding.
- 02
Declared issuer powers
Powers such as pausing transfers or recovering tokens are stated in the asset’s terms and recorded each time they are used.
- 03
Valuation transparency
Each valuation shows its source, method, timestamp and confidence, and stale valuations are flagged.
- 04
Liquidity terms
Redemption windows, notice periods and any gates are disclosed before subscription.
- 05
Named counterparties
The issuer, legal vehicle, servicer and custodian are identified for each asset.
Order types
Order types for real-world assets
Many real-world assets trade by negotiation rather than continuous matching. Execution covers each workflow in detail.
