Markets · Equities
Equity exposure with the rules attached.
Tokenized equities and synthetic exposure, where legally available. Corporate actions arrive as lifecycle events, and issuer and eligibility rules are checked through VaultID before an order reaches the book.
Overview
Two routes to equity exposure
Tokenized equities represent shares held under a disclosed structure and may carry the economic rights of those shares. Synthetic exposure tracks a share price through a derivative contract and conveys no ownership or voting rights. The difference matters, so every listing states which route it uses and what the holder receives.
Both routes sit alongside your other positions in one portfolio. VaultID applies issuer and jurisdiction rules, Prism tracks whether the primary market is open, and dividends, splits and mergers are applied as signed lifecycle events rather than manual adjustments.
Capabilities
How equity access is engineered
- 01
Tokenized equities
Tokens representing shares held under a custody and issuance structure that is disclosed for each listing.
- 02
Synthetic exposure
Price exposure through derivative contracts, where legally available, without ownership or voting rights.
- 03
Corporate actions
Dividends, splits, mergers and rights issues processed as lifecycle events with record-date entitlements.
- 04
Eligibility checks
Issuer and jurisdiction rules are evaluated against VaultID credentials as part of pre-trade checks.
- 05
Session awareness
Reference prices and bands reflect whether the primary market is open, closed or halted.
- 06
One portfolio
Equity positions share one Aegis risk graph with digital assets, FX, commodities and derivatives.
Lifecycle
The life of an equity position
- 01
Eligibility
VaultID confirms that the account meets the listing’s issuer and jurisdiction rules.
- 02
Order
Side, size and limit are signed, with the listing’s rights summary attached.
- 03
Pre-risk
Aegis checks balances, margin where applicable and concentration limits.
- 04
Match
ApexMatch fills at price-time priority within session-aware price bands.
- 05
Hold
Prism reference prices value the position while the primary market’s status is tracked.
- 06
Corporate action
Dividends, splits and other events apply to record-date holdings deterministically, each with a signed record.
- 07
Exit
Positions are sold, closed or redeemed as the listing’s structure permits.
Protection
Safeguards specific to equities
- 01
Rights disclosure
Each listing states the economic, voting and redemption rights it carries — including when it carries none.
- 02
Transfer restrictions
Tokenized shares move only between eligible holders; transfers to ineligible accounts are rejected by the protocol.
- 03
Off-hours pricing
When the primary market is closed, reference prices and bands reflect that state rather than implying a continuous market.
- 04
Event integrity
Corporate-action data is signed at source, applied once and reconciled against record-date balances.
- 05
Structure disclosure
The issuer, custodian and attestation arrangements behind each tokenized listing are published with the listing.
